About Us

Our friendship began in the busy sound department of Procam with both of us destined to build a career as freelance sound recordists. Even as freelancers we kept finding ourselves working closely alongside each other. Thankfully we work very well together, even when put to the test crammed into the back of a coach across Europe. We have travelled the world and recorded sound for all manner of activities from pottery classes to bungee jumps, football matches, and many more.

We've learnt to embrace (and enjoy) the beautiful chaos that can be location TV production. There is never a problem, only a solution.

FreqySound is the outcome of this journey. Likeminded Sound Recordists with the desire to help.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP

The team

Co-Founder & Sound Supervisor

Max McNeilly

Max is a talented and conscientious soundie, his skills and abilities only surpassed by his wonderful persona. "No" is not a word in Max's vocabulary, opting instead for "Let me see what I can do for you" or "How can I help?". Max is a natural leader with excellent multi-tasking skills, and inspires confidence in everything he does.

And let's not forget, he's an absolute magician when its comes to hiding mics on cast members, give him a difficult outfit and watch him work!
